You stole the breath that I was taking

A simple lunch I made myself today before heading out.

Hi everyone! I hope everyone's Christmas was very merry and food-filled. Today I went to town to try and bag myself some decent bargains but the everyone in Sydney seemed to have the same idea! There was a half-kilometre queue outside Topshop along! Since I'm not one for waiting outside a shop for an hour and a half, I plan to to go back there on Sunday so watch this space.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas

My favourite tree ornament this year.

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope everyone had a jolly and festive day, surrounded by family and friends. I'm currently munching on some scrummy lindt chocolates; they seem to be the choice festive chocolate this year, we've received no less that five boxes! Good thing they're tasty and come in three chocolatey levels- dark, milk and white.

ANYWAY! I've rambling from a sugar high, but I hope everyone has had a great day and continues to have a great evening. I'm off to watch some cheesy Christmas movies.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night! :-)

Hey I put some new shoes on

How beautiful are my new babies? I spotted them at Wanted Shoes a few days ago, since I've been for a pair in this style forever. On sale too! It was meant to be <3

These will be perfect for Christmas and the holidays since they go with almost everything. I'm not going to lie, they are not the most comfortable footwear around, but for their height; which is a bonus since I am little and these bring me eye-level with other less vertically challenged people, they aren't that bad.

Somewhere over the rainbow

The other day, my mum surprised me with this gorgeous pack of felt-tip pens from Kikki.K. Since I need encouragement (in the form of pretty stationery) to motivate me to write neat notes this is a perfect present for me. I've already put them to good use writing Christmas cards. Thanks Mum, you know me too well. :)

'Tis the season to be jolly

With Christmas well on it's way, I'm really starting to feel the festive spirit, especially since all the big shopping centres, and individual store windows are bringing out their Christmas decorations.

True red and very dark navy blue are my favourite nail colours for the silly season since these two colours go with just about everything. Working on how to wear them together

Baking Christmas cookies always fills the house with that lovely, spicy, baking smell and they are wonderful to nibble on with a cup of tea. Planning on making another batch soon, since these got eaten very, very quickly.

Counting down the days till Christmas with my chocolate advent calendar (child at heart!). :)

Bought this mint and gold bangle the other day with a friend, she got a matching lilac one. So this is officially a 'friendship bangle'. <3

Hope everyone's holiday preparations are going well, whatever holiday you celebrate.

Original Source Mint

Sorry for my lack of posting lately! I've just moved and it took about a week for the internet company to transfer the wifi.

But enough about that; so I was wandering around the shopping aisles in Coles the other day (the 'beauty, skincare, and hygiene section) and on the ORIGINAL SOURCE shower gel shelf, there was one of those big yellow in-your-face SPECIAL signs. So then what else was there to do but start sniffing them? They actually smell really good by the way. Well at least the Shea Butter and Mint ones smell good. I'm not a real fan of lavender in general so that one didn't appeal to me.

But since I've just gone through a bottle of the Palmolive Shea Butter shower gel, and the Original Source one smells exactly the same, I decided on the Mint and Tea Tree flavour(?). I thought since Summer's here and everything mint would be a very refreshing smell to smell of. : )
